The “Mille Miglia,” the world’s most important historic car event, arrives in Ticino for a “warm up” stage
This opportunity is offered to only 20 participants, who are invited to test their teams in time trials while enjoying the charms of Switzerland.
It serves as a real training session ahead of the actual 1000 Miglia, scheduled from June 15 to 18.
For the occasion, the lakefront will be closed to traffic on both Saturday and Sunday starting at 8 a.m. to facilitate the event.
Meanwhile, Piazzetta Rezzonico in Lugano will remain open to the public, allowing spectators to admire the splendid cars up close and interact with the drivers.
